Organizing a sewing station?

So, I have a desk and it’s only like two feet long and maybe a foot wide. I have two shelves above that. Currently the only thing I have on the top shelf is a mini tree that is real, some stationary in a really pretty wire box and my stapler and tape. On the bottom shelf the only things that I have are all of my different threads spread out in order of color and a can of pens and pencils and a bucket of office stuff. My sewing machine and my laptop both share the desk and when I use one I just put the other on my bed. My room is small but I want some way of organizing my stuff so I can somehow have a sewing station and a computer station. Like I said my room is small but I’m willing to try to make stuff. I’m not able to buy anything, but I have lots of craft stuff. Please help and give me a sense of organization. Thanks! =)

moving in 20 days!?

We are military and just got a humanitarian assignment. Although we have moved alot (8 times) this is the first time we will be moving across the world (germany to florida) in less than 20 days. I have a large house 3000 square feet, and we are moving into a small house 1350 square feet. I have already got 5 rooms ready to go but still have the office, garage, shed, master bedroom, attic and family room to get ready for the movers. Anyone have any tips on making this easier? We are all under a great deal of stress. We are moving back early because my father has terminal cancer and the kids and I are moving near him. My husband is moving to another base about 300 miles from home. This sucks and we are under stress but still have major work to get done before the movers come. What are the main things I should have done before they come to pack us out? I usually have everything ready to go from all major cleaning, dusting and organization. But this time I don’t have time.

Well i’m a pack rat in the works to not save so much! but going through stuff is a pain!
but trying to organize it is even more of a pain!
I have to much stuff i know this but the stuff that i’m keeping example: 1or 2 of the horses that i collected ect.. instead of all 30 of them!
so i’m having a hard time putting it all together! Not sure why! maybe the over whelming of stuff and how it can be here or there!

i have papers some are office paper (blank) note books of thoughts idea’s plans goals wishfull thinking songs poems doodles and other crazy off the wall things!
on top of the boxes and boxes of cd’s i have.. some for playstation some for pc some for radio and some are still not identivided! lol
Currenly i have CD Paper Decroation art stuff music stuff ect..
but when i get to a paper and it has doodles do i put that with remember when box or art stuff or paper?
this is just one example! How do i know where to put it!

the cd thing is great too but i have WAY to many cd’s to get a rack for them I have worked in radio so long and received a lot of free ones… when i tell you i have over 8 boxes i’m not lieing and most are with out the jewelcases anyway!
i have spools of cd’s! LOL
once i go throught them and get rid of them most likely i will have some more cases to give!

I am moving, and the new condo has an extra huge bedroom that I am going to turn into my office. I sell lots of stuff on ebay, and I have my own website where I make jewelry. I need some type of bookshelf or something to get organized! I was thinking or a large wall shelving situation, with various sized drawers or containers I can have easy access too. I am crafty, so it will have all of my craft supplies, as well as stuff I am storing to sell on ebay.

Any website or photos of something I can buy? I already checked out a few (ikea, target, container store) but no luck.

I want to redesign my home office — install built in cabinets, bookcases, widen counter space, allow for more computers, etc. Right now it is a hodgepodge of hutches, desks, bookcases that don’t match. More importantly I need better organization

I have several small rubber made totes with various craft making supplies and homeschooling type stuff, but I need some better organization of it all. Right now we have several book shelves that are full of books, and all the craft/homeschooling stuff is on a bookshelf which is ontop of another bookshelf….it looks tacky and cluttery.

So keeping in mind I have other children who are very small who I need to keep this stuff out of reach from, what are some tips to get this stuff organized??? right now it’s all in our "office" area, but do I need to move it to another room? I suppose if I clean out the kids’ closet, there is high shelving in there I could put it on…any other tips?? thanks
