my desk,nightstand,shelves get covered with random stuff that i don’t now how to organize.. any idea what i could do I don’t want to thrown the stuff out either….

I really need some help organizing my desk. I have a bulletin board and 2 small shelves, too. There are 2 big drawers and 4 small drawers on the desk. I really need some organizing tips before school starts!

I’m 16, living with mom & I know it’s her roof since she pays for the home but it’s a mess.
I don’t feel cozy at home, I don’t even feel like it’s a home, everything is like against the wall & just a mess allover, and we live in an apartment so I told her even though the space is small, we can organize and she just goes, "it’s MY HOME!" I told her I want to help out organize & throw some unnecessary stuff or space consuming objects at home. I’m embarrassed to have friends over, alone just me looking around or even being in this type of environment.
She won’t listen or even bother to take the time to just organize some stuff.
To her, she says, "well, it’s clean." ….
She refuses to throw tables or desks that we DON’T NEED AT ALL!
I told her it’s like hoarding!
How can I get her to listen to my opinions? I don’t want to change the place just organize it a little bit, make some room.
Please help.
All I know in the future, my home won’t be like this, but I’m talking about right now. How can I deal with this or talk it out with her?
It’s just a mess. Things don’t go along or match in, & there’s a lot of stuff to move around.
