Learn To Organize

Hiya, I am moving out of my mum and dads bungalow into my own house, I don’t have anything except what will go in my room in the new house, all i am allowed to take is the things I own and the furniture in my bedroom.
( My parents are converting my room into a playroom for my lil bros. )
I basically have :
Desk
Laptop
Leather Chair
Bed
Bedside Table
Bookcase
DVD Tower
TV + DVD + Freeview box.
Wardrobe + Chest of draws.
I have loads of items, teddies, books, dvds, cds, old school books, clothes etc.
So I now need to think about what else I need to buy for the rest of my new house.
Living room, bathroom, kitchen, spare room + garage.
Anyone have a list I need to buy and how much I should expect to pay ?
Anyone recently moved and had to make a list they could kindly give me the link to ?

So I want a vanity, full bed, desk, bookcase, and dresser in my room. My room is 12′ 8.5" (152") by 10′ 11.5" (131.5"). I cannot fit a loft bed in my room because it is too short and I could have an extra tall bed with storage under and a bookcase head board. Any suggestions to some furniture? Thank You.

There are lots of architectural details like beams and lots of levels of walls.
(good opportunity for accent colors)

The living room would be neutral colors to go with the theme of our furniture, but i don’t know what colors…

The art room is small but could be colorful and creative. Any ideas for crafty, cheap organization for paint brushes, buttons, etc?

I was wondering if there are any good places to shop to get quality Items such as furniture such desks for studying, places to keep clothing, pillow cases, sheets, curtians, etc for a teen girls bedroom that don’t cost an arm and a leg. If you have any online places to shop let me hear’em. I’m speifically looking for stylish/different pieces. Also if there is any book you known of that has suggestions on how to organize and decorate a space to it’s best advantage let me known.

I want to make it seem bigger without getting rid of anything. We don’t have a basement or attic to put anything in. My bedroom is only a little bigger than my grandmother’s walk-in closet.

My furniture:

Twin bed
Nightstand
CD rack (the size of a small bookshelf)
Desk
Stool
2 filing cabinets
Dresser
Table (where I keep schoolbooks and stuff)
2 bookshelves
Kitty litterbox
Chair

The room is really tiny… There is no closet (so there are clothes all over the place), and slanted ceilings make it so I can’t have shelves. I also have lots of boxes stacked all over the place full of random stuff with no home.

I need some attractive storage solutions that won’t make my room look any smaller. You name it, I’ve got it, and need to find a place for it. I know it sounds like I need to get rid of some stuff, but I really use almost everything I have.

I have lived here for 7 years, but I am fed up with the mess and the fact that I don’t have enough space.

I want to re do my 2 bedroom apartment. It is only my son and I who live there. Its quite large and has a lounge, dining room, 2 rooms, 1 bathroom and a kitchen.

I always have a lot of papers, cds, dvd’s and books laying around, and it tends to get messy quickly. I want to save more time, keep the place tidy and be more efficient. Any tips on what type of furniture to get, or anything else?

I’ll be moving to a smaller apartment in a few months, from a two bedroom, two bathroom apartment to a one bedroom, one bathroom. ok, i just hate my house! we live in the woods, so theres bugs and spiderwebs all over our deck, patio, and door. and weeds and trees just grow every where in out yard! then, since our house is old, we have old dirty fixtures, and the bathroom is bad because we have iron water so theres orange rings around everything, and its kinda gross becasue liek behind the toilet or in the corners of the room theres dirt and hair and dust and blahhhh. adn none of the cupboard in the kitchen or bathroom are organized, none of the furniture matches, the windows are dirty, our house is cluttered and ughhhhhhhhhhh i hate it! and im only a kid so i cant do liek heavy heavey cleaning to get it all done, and my family doesnt help! what should i do? im embarassed to have ppl over!

so, i’m 17 years old. junior in high school. my room hasn’t really changed since about 7th grade. and i’m getting sick of it looking so little kid-ish. i want to change it, but i dont have the money to buy myself all new bedding and furniture and stuff. so, i need some creative ways to make it look more mature. also, what are some good ways to organize make up, lotions/sprays/perfumes, music stuff (electric guitar, keyboard, mic, amp), and pictures?
