Learn To Organize

So, i’m in a super tiny apartment, with 2 big closets. They have shelves at eye level that have about 6ft of vertical space (really high ceilings), depth of about 2 feet and 3 1/2 feet width on one and more than 12 ft width on the other.
I’m looking for some way to build up and create more storage for cheap.
Any ideas? Links would be greatly appreciated.

I also have something like 50 pairs of shoes, and need some good storage for them. Right now I have 1 on those hanging shoe organizers, but they don’t hold much and I don’t have room to hang more. I also keep the nicer shoes and boots in their original boxes, but this makes it annoying when I go to pick out shoes. I don’t have enough room to lay them out nicely on the closet floor.

Any room! Any tip! Clothes, shoes, papers, kitchen, closets, bathroom.

For example, I recently purchased over an over the door organizer for the bathroom. It has pockets for all of my junk so I can keep my counter clutter free. I love it.

But uh…the rest of the house is still a clutter-filled mess :-/
gramma…i have no kids or roomates. it’s an 1100 sq ft apt. i have a huge living room w/dining room attached. two closets (one coat, one linen)…no PANTRY..which sucks. one bathroom, one bedroom with WIC. my main problem is that i have no washer/dryer…so clothes pile up! i have shoe organizers, but never use them b/c i have too many shoes! i have no where to keep my winter boots! and don’t even get me started with the paper

ok so im redecorating my room on like a 250 budget
i need things like:
closet and shoe organizers
bookshelf
desk
comforter set
curtains
any wall decorations (like cork boards and organizers,hooks)
throws
i-pod adapter radio /with xm
chair (comfy)
storage
colors i like-pink and green and im very girly…oh i live in an apartment but my room is a nice size

the problem is where do i start and go
well the i-pod thing is not in the budget and i only need one set of storage and curtains
ok well i ask my dad to change the amount …so what amount should i spend minus the i-pod thing…i already have one( i never really had the room i wanted so my parents dont mind.

I have a small closet so I don’t know how to organize my shoes. there are shoe organizers that hang in your closet from a hanger but that will take away my clothes space. What to do.

I wear a men’s size US 12 or US 13. One of the problems with over the door shoe organizers is that they don’t hold large size shoes well. Does anyone have any recommendations for an over the door shoe organizer for large shoes? I would prefer something that was canvas.

Woodlandboy, it doesn’t say anything about if it will hold large shoes. Also, I’d rather not have pink for my mens size 13 shoes.
